Shianfu Optical Fiber and Cables Co., Ltd. is co-invested by Xi'an
Xidian Optical Cable Co.,Ltd, China, and Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd.,
Japan. It is the first Sino-Japanese joint venture in manufacturing
and selling optical fiber and cables on large scale in Mainland China.
Shianfu was established in July 1986, and put into production in 1988.
Shianfu introduced up-to-date equipment and technology as well as
modern management methods from abroad. The whole production process
is controlled strictly according to ISO9000 Quality Assurance System,
and all the products meet the latest international and national standards.
Shianfu can provide various kinds of loose tube stranded layer cable,
central tube common fiber, ribbon cable and ADSS cables, suitable
for aerial, duct, direct, burial etc.
Shianfu has an annual production capability of 3,000,000 fkm cable.
Up to now, Shianfu has provided tens of thousands of kilometers of
high quality cables for China Telecommunication, China Unicom, China
Mobile, railways, Broadcast & Television, National Defense and
Electricity system etc., distributed over 30 provinces and autonomous
regions in Mainland China. Shianfu will do its best to supply high
quality cables at reasonable price and to make their customers as
satisfactory as possible.
Since its establishment, Shianfu has got kind attention and strong
support from leaders at all levels from Chinese Communist Party
and national government. General secretary of CCP, Mr.Jiang Zemin,
Chairman of the central committee of the NPC, Mr. Li Peng, and the
former Minister of the MOFTEC, Ms. Wu Yi, inspected Shianfu one
after another. Chairman of the Central Committee of NPC, Mr. Li
Peng inscribed for the company as follows: "Develop the Optical
Fiber Communication with whole efforts "
The company is aiming at providing various optical Fiber and cables
at the international levels for communications both in domestic
and in international markets, and is striving to make greater contributions
to the modernization of Chinese communication.
